Yeah, the issue here is absolutely the entitlement. Obviously, we only have this account to go off of, but if it is accurate, then this lady deserved a swift rejection. She didn't seem to be struggling to feed her kids, and even if she were, this is simply not how you approach anyone when you're asking for favors or sympathy.

Entitled mom crashes private birthday party, demands free food from the buffet until she's kicked out: 'That doesn't matter, my kids want some food'
To successfuly host a kid's birthday party, you have to be pretty good at multitasking. You're juggling a flock of sugar-hyped children, keeping track of a dozen pairs of tiny shoes, praying no one gets stuck in a slide, and desperately trying to protect the buffet table from being destroyed in seconds. But for one parent, the birthday chaos didn't come from the kids; it came from a full-grown adult who decided she was invited to the party, too.
Imagine that you've paid for a soft play venue, ordered enough sandwiches to feed your tiny guests, and finally opened the buffet. Then a random lady that you've never met walks up and demands food for her kids as if she's at an all-inclusive resort. When you say no, she doubles down, tries to wait you out, and finally starts screaming, "WHAT IS A SANDWICH?" like she's having some sort of existential crisis. The staff tried to remove her, and while she did initially refuse, she ended up storming out eventually.
Now, our protagonist admits there was enough food, and under different circumstances might've shared! But the entitlement with which she was approached warranted a rejection. What would you do?
